Privacy
Short version: your test answers stay on your device, there are no cookies, and we only see aggregated page-view statistics.
Your answers and results
The color blind test, the astigmatism check and the eye test run entirely in your browser. Your answers and results are not sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them. They are also not saved: we do not use cookies, local storage or any other storage on your device, so closing the page forgets them. A result about your vision is a health-related detail, and we never receive it.
If you press “Save result image”, your browser creates a picture on your own device and downloads it. Nothing is uploaded.
Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To see how many people use the site and which pages they visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not set cookies, does not use your browser storage or fingerprinting, and does not identify or follow individual visitors. We only see aggregated numbers such as page views per page, referring sites, countries and device types. A small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com reports each page view to Cloudflare. Nothing you answer in a test is included.
Cookies, advertising and links
The site currently sets no cookies, shows no ads, has no affiliate links and has no sign-up. If we add advertising in the future, we will update this page before it goes live and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Hosting and downloads
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The printable eye charts are plain PDF files.
